Hi Guys,

Byso.....no. they are less than 100MB get over it.

If you want it even smaller follow the links on the podcast page, then click the details page and there are links to VOB files and smaller files including 64kbps files which are about half the size if not smaller than the full 192kbps ones.

Or if you want I can send you the CD's and you can spend time you don't have editing them

heheh , what we will actually be doing is during the recording, is stop recording during a couple of the songs to fit the show in under the 80 mins which is the size of a CD.

What this means is when it comes to downloading or even easier just listening off Silvertails.net, rather than one large download, the show will split into 3 or 4 almost equal parts.

Byso hope that helps a little bit.

I would download from work. But not too keen on downloading 100 or 60 mb files as that sort of stuff would be monitored.

I'm sure i'm not the only one that would share that view.

Byso you mean exactly like last weeks show which was split into 3 files? Or is it only a good idea after you have mentioned it?

Also you can listen to it directly from the site, so it looks streamed that way you are downloading just looks lik internet radio

I know the IT chaps here enjoy "Spying/keeping an eye" on what people do.

I did try the streaming idea but it stalls every 5-10 seconds of listening due to the slowish download speed. Maybe thats inproved though, so i'll give it another go.

all i do is listen to it from the website while i work away.

don't have to sit there waiting for 100 megs to download. Can't imagine wanting to have it on your desktop.
