I'm happy to share dialogue with you, Bozo.
My comment was a response to your post suggesting immortals do not need validation. That is an abstract broad catch phrase to begin with. I can only assume that you are inferring that due to this "immortal" status given to Fulton he should be above any criticism? I could be wrong and happy for you to clarify that if I am.
My point is that despite what brilliance Fulton displayed on the field to earn such amazing accolades and respect, he should be, and needs to be closely scrutinised in his role off the field. It is naive (though unfortunately common) to assume that his brilliant footballing performances of yore and his status as one of the RL immortals, transfer to infallibility and amazing ability in other aspects of life.
While his single-mindedness and ability to get what he wants could be useful when applied in an appropriate context, we also need to balance that against the dangers of an unchecked ego and false delusions of grandeur (much of it again propagated by people putting him on a pedestal and mythologising who he is and what he is capable of).
There are enough traces for people to look closely at Fulton and seriously question whether he is in fact in the right position and having the right systems and checks around him to ensure the success of this club longer term.
