This loss was coming

That we ridiculous how long they were allowed to lay all over us. Let alone keep lifting the legs and moving our players. The writing was on the wall when this happened. Especially when the first penalty was against us for being to slow in the ruck..
After dce had a word to cummins, he took offence to that, seemed to give even more leniency to their slowing down, then penalised us ha. This isn't the way nrl is supposed to be played. Just hope it doesn't get that bad again. When the ref calls held, you need to release , not hold on and then drive back. Come on refs, get serious.

There were three 'reasons' for the loss:
1. We are a dry weather team, playing poorly when it rains
2. We play better in daylight hours
3. The Worriers were better on the night.

I've never seen the Worriers more committed than they were for the first 65 minutes. We won every stat, including the penalties, possession, attack within their 20-metre line, etc
We also had a good run with the lack of injuries over the past two months.
Just shows you how important mental application is in RL. The Worriers turnaround in one week was as remarkable as you'd ever see. I don't think we played poorly, and all credit should go to the Worriers.
