This is the way the bears should end,not with a bang, but a whimper

Lol be realistic BE,Roosters arent going anywhere and never will

Sydney will always have Manly,Roosters,Souths in the city itself

I wish you few remaining Northern Beaches supporters would get over your petty local parochialism before it kills the Sea Eagles. Their future lies with a decent stadium, and/or innovation and very definitely becoming a brand that gets over the whole insular peninsula thing. Lest we become as small-minded and irrelevant as the Bears.

Sydney will always be a localised, parochial, tribal market.
Yes, these teams have to market themselves as "brands" outside of the metropolitan area but not within Sydney itself, it just wont work. You outsiders have to understand that.
What relevance does any club have if they're all the same, and what do they sell themselves with?

It's small-minded to think that you can blow in from the sticks once or twice a year and tell people who've lived it their whole lives what's going on.

Innovation is needed, I agree but that innovation is needed to enable us to remain who we are, not to sell it out.

If Manly is to be surrendered to a local, parochial and tribal market, and given Sydney is being over run with Arabs and Sudanese, maybe Manly should operating a rugby league nursery and a factory outlet in downtown Baghdad and Khartoum.

Not such a bad idea Matas. I was recently in Nepal trekking up Mt Everest and saw small Nepalese guys carrying enormous loads of stuff up the trail. Hardy little buggers who could be trained up to play for us. They'd be on low dollars as well.

Not many sudanese or arabs on the northern beaches mata.

But all will be fine shortly as o'farrell, Baird and co will soon be providing us with all the money we need to build a world class football stadium.

Still can't work out why Gillard hasn't given us the money as she could have gained massive mileage out of doing what Abbott hasn't been able to do to his own electorate for the past 15 years.

Oh yeah, sorry, you get to put up with all the rugby playing boers and Jo'burg Jews.

That's more the North Shore. That's what killed the Bears.

I think you'll find its a spreading enclave. They're fleeing an inevitable genocide and establishing their ghetto in the north of Sydney. They're like cane toads, be afraid, be very afraid.

You should see collaroy plateau guys. All the war vets staff are African imports. Not complaining for all I know they are great nurses but it's a changing world we live in.

No we don't let that riff raff into the beaches either. We segregated those people into St Ives where they have video nights of the bears greatest victories in the synagogue each week.

That doesn't even make sense...

Do you mean the part about the bears greatest victories?
