Warriors next week and we will be missing at least DCE and Jake, possibly Ola. It will be time for Des to also bring in Segeyaro as Walker will most likely start at lock.

The team selection is a huge concern, why pick KDL and give him ten minutes game time, for me they would of been best suited looking forward in picking Tuitavake and giving him ten minutes or more game time.

The team doesn’t appear to be a well coached team with lack of imagination and energy.

Jorge, why Des selected him is also a worry, every coach in the competition knows his weaknesses.

Time to blood some youth and look at a new coach.

Amidst all the emotion this is a really good post. Why does he so frequently pick a bench and keep a bloke on the bench until the 72nd minute! It’s insane. Jake has to have a spell as well. He’s great Jake but give him a spell and he can come on fresh for the last 30mins or so. Schu get him starting and working in sone match fitness. He needs to be out there for the 80. Feel a bit for KDL tonight. Should have got more time.

Every now and then it's hard and sad to confess....but this Manly team, is basically bottom 4 quality in 2022
The side has not adjusted to the modern game and unfortunately, most NRL teams are exploiting the game and winning momentum, especially around the ruck.
I would go as far to say our side is so unbalanced and this reliance on Tom is getting pretty pathetic.
They are trying hard, but off the pace in speed, discipline, execution, tactics and basically every key factor required to succeed in footy.
It could get uglier, though can see a few wins giving a glimmer the side is not so bad, but it will only really be a Band-Aid till meeting another strong side and getting belted.
I am going to follow Manly till my last breath, but this season I am not expectant of anything more than having a legitimate dig and maybe giving some young blokes an opportunity over some old plodders, who appear to be going through the motions.
Anyways- I'll never give up on the Seaeagles, but that's how I see us....a bottom 4 side or thereabouts

It's sad for supporters, but I reluctantly have to agree. I see a lack of discipline, poor defense, no ability to defuse high kicks and no backs capable of making hard "physical" yards. The players are certainly trying for Des, but the roster lacks high-impact players apart from DCE, Olakauatu and an injury-prone Tom. Criticize me for being overly negative, but I honestly don't know where we go forward from here given our current roster. Finally, I can't see Schuster being the answer to our five-eighth position in the future. He strikes me as a bit of a "one-trick pony" with the "no-look" pass.

From what I've seen of De Luis he can do plenty of minutes, all at the same plodding speed but gets through his work. He isn't an impact player. So really if he's picked he may as well do 60 -65 minutes and keep the other forwards fresher

We're just not a good team, too many in our squad aren't close to first grade. I think the worst part is when most teams are crap you get to see young players blooded and there's a hopeful glimmer, but with this team we're not particularly young and the same dribble keeps getting picked. I would advocate for the moving on of Des but I'm not sure who would do a better job with this current crop.

Anyway, us as fans need to come to terms with this reality, we won't be beating any good teams and we're not playing finals.

If a players old enough to get paid hes old enough to get played. I'm glad his taufua selection blew up in his face. He waved the white flag on Tuesday and **** himself completelt 1 hr before kick-off when he couldn't bring himself to name weekes in the team

It never occurred to me that Craig Bellamy might target Jorge with kicks lol!

I don’t get why there is no thought process to the future, no offence to KDL and Jorge there are some other players in the squad worth giving the experience and to see where they are.

Guaca tells a story there, was not in Haslers thoughts early last season, gave him a shot and now look at him.

Tuitavake is worth giving a run and seeing how he handles the top grade, nothing to loose.

Unfortunately, they aren't even fun or entertaining to watch anymore. It's literally a chore & painful to sit there through a game and watch the same old crap, week after week. I'd be very surprised by anyone enjoying this team, these players, and this coach right now. Just awful.

Time to record the games, and just delete the losses. Hopefully I get a game or two to watch between now and September.

Des has lead us completely into the doldrums.

It’s excruciating, extremely unenjoyable to watch and I doubt neutral fans of NRL look forward to watching our dud team play at all
