Have you ever noticed how untruths are in the ear of the beholder? If it were black and white as suggested then everyone would agree Howard lied (or didn't) about children overboard.  

Classification as untruths is dependent upon our filters of belief, n'est pas?

Nor was it a falsity that Penn and Mayer were trying to move the team to CC!

You know for an absolute fact that the Manly football club is 100% wrong in their recent press release on this issue?

You know with absolute certainty that no actions were recently taken along these lines as claimed?

And you know this without being at the board meetings and without being in their back pockets?

I will stay out of the public slanging match - however I will attempt to argue the issues:

My perspective is basically - Max and Bob Reilly have publically stated that this is all about trying to move Manly from Manly. It has now established (I am assuming yes!) that this is impossible and they both knew this clearly in making their statements.

Why did they say this? What is the agenda? As a Manly fan, hoping to see the end of this issue, why? Why misrepresent? Who are they trying to fool?

I don't pretend to know the answers, there may be a good reasons for their action, but it is not clear and it seems underhand and murky.

Great to hear that Sibraa is on the way to England, though obviously he was one of the two Football Club members who voted to sayonara to Grant Mayer! Lets hope it is sorted.

Bit simplistic Mata. Diplomacy when representing the government in a sovereign state does not imply agreeing with anything but representing one's own country interests. We have no idea where Sibraa or anyone else stands personally on Mugabe. Diplomacy sometimes means putting aside those views. Harsh to claim any imprimateur on the Zimbabwean regime.
