The Scoreboard ‘broken scoreboard’ (at Brookie all season!)

Whilst there a thread on the surface of the ground – the Electronic Scoreboard at Brookie has been broken all year? Even the Waratahs (NSW Rugby) when they played a trial at Brookie in Feb mention the broken scoreboard !!

What’s the issue – a major electric fault? I had someone asking where was the time clock yesterday? You have to find in the small graphics on the mobile TV screen ..!

Really nice if Council could give us an explanation as it’s turning into an embarrassment that our scoreboard has not worked all year and the small graphics on the mobile TV screen – even the players could find it hard to read let alone the supporters!

Would explain why we switched off in the second half - The boys thought the game was finished at half time!

Council probably decided to keep the repair monies as the Brookie upgrade will need a new scoreboard anyway.

Manly just needs to spend the 25 million and get the upgrade moving

The broken sign is a total embarrassment not sure who should fix it or who is indeed responsible. But either way sort it out. Obviously the franchise owner does not see it as a priority.

And on another note, not sure if Brookvale Oval will ever get an upgrade.

I also noticed this....

The club has been promised $10 million from the State Government and $12.5 million from the Federal Government for upgrades, including a new 4000-seat grandstand.


Wasn't it 20 mill from the feds?
