The Rumour that we hear everywhere

I love it when they refer to us as keyboard warriors.

They are happy to take cheap shot but don't give us a right of reply.

They should do a bit of journalism and give some of us a call.
We are if anything some of THE most passionate Sea Eagle fans on the planet , and very far from keyboard warriors.

Believe me , anything I say here I’d say to Fluffy , Mestrov , the Chaser ( if they asked ).

It’s funny but I had the ear of a couple of CEO’s in years gone by , Grant Mayer used to ring me at least once a week to get a feel for what was being said.

David Perry was almost the same although not as frequent.

They felt Silvertails was a real link to the died in the wool fans.

I would say it still is.

Well not the younger generation that much, but Manly has a much mature supporter base especially country NSW, NZ, Qld.

Other teams have taken a big slice of supporters in the younger ones.

Winning premierships helps.

But Manly has got attendances at Brookie and also member numbers up, that aint from us Silvertails, I dare say 🙂

I suspect there could be truth to it.

But may be Seibold is the right man for the job after all.

Jake at lock is holding us back. Turbo needs to move into the halves as his body isn't up to the hits or just running. And DCE should have retired.

The loss of $$$ and the lofty position your held in can upset many a young one.

Those three had the power. Now they don't. Generation next comes along, ask Choc he threw his toys out of the cot too.

And if you think Seibold hasn't gone out of his way to have those 3 onside as a coach your delusional. May be went too far.

But If he has Mestrovs support, he will be here next year at least. Toms the one who would be nice to have around.

But we need to spend on freshening up that middle with actual blokes that can play. If we can do that next year is a rebuilding year at best.

Yeah they’ve made an entire career out of speculation and then point the finger when someone else has a go at the hypotheticals…you’re not a keyboard warrior for simply sharing an opinion, speculating, and sharing ideas.

If Seibold stays it has to come with an announcement of Jake with a healthy head as captain and significant forward signings or NSW Cup player promotions and a clearing of the washed up and under performing players.

I’d prefer Trbo as captain for longevity and stability.

Yeah I think most here have a great feel for the club and team.

It's a much more respectful place the past few months also. Maybe that's just because I have a few blocked.
