I'm expecting an extremely professional organisation moving forward.
These past two seasons have seemed like the climax to a long coming storm. I think it's over now, and I'm actually very excited about our clubs future.

Hopefully the players spend the off-season mentally hurting, after the efforts dished up this year.

Then, I hope they spend the pre-season physically hurting, so we don't have a repeat of the efforts dished up this year.

Depends on the depth mate. If guys like Leary, Ballin, JSL, Gutherson etc were playing premier league and could step up, maybe they do.

Fill in the gaps an I think you will see that we wont be much chop with the same injury toll as this year.

We were the 3rd best team in the second half of the year with a decent amount of our players fit, if we can have a decent run next year will be top 4 again as there are still enough players at Manly who are Manly. Add BJ and Buhrer to our team this year and surely we would have won a couple more games.

Planning wise Zorba/Bozo/Barrett must be expecting a lot of injuries for our hookers with Hodges dropping from 2nd to fighting for fourth with Pratt.

Less than 24 hours after the team’s gripping round-26 win over Cronulla, assistant coaches Dave Penna and Steve Georgallis were told to hand over their laptops.

Long-time high-performance manager Don Singe will also cut ties with the Sea Eagles after being told he would be reporting to incoming conditioning guru Dan Ferris.

Popular football manager Steve Gigg was told to clean out his desk, only to earn a recall because the club’s NSW Cup and under-20s teams are still alive.

Georgallis intends to take the club to court.


It could mean by the time the Sea Eagles have finished paying out Toovey and all the other support staff, club owners Scott and Rick Penn will need to write a cheque for almost $1 million.

Surprising that they are getting rid of everyone including Singe. It really is a clean out.
