Yep, we signed Brooks first, then did the Schuster deal fairly quickly as I remember. Thought it was a dud call as well.

I just dont know what to say about this situation. Its almost as if the powers that run the universe had a say here. Such a talented footy player. He was a good clubman and loved Manly. Sure he wasnt the best trainer but such a shame he couldnt make it in the NRL. Plenty of other pure footy players that did make it. That game against the eels in 2021 the day we remembered the great bozo was just something special.

I agree… I also think the sad passing of Keith Titmuss is one of the primary factors that derailed Josh’s career and mindset.

It’s really sad to see such amazing talent go to waste and a young man to be so deeply affected by something.

I hope he finds his way.
