yeah, Souths is his last chance Salon, and Wayne is very picky on who he selects. The English half, Dodds is on 650k but looks like he'll languish in reserves with the Schu as well.

The "potential" side of it has expired for this kid.

The reality is that he is only elite at passing the ball, and in terms of the rest of what makes up an NRL player, he is below average at.

Yeah, I watched him mucking around with Trell in the sheds last weekend. He looks happy and comfortable.

Souths have a thousand out, I think it's more he needs numbers not that he is on fire, from what I have seen.

I didn't see the game, but Wombat64 indicated that in his last game, I assume in the Reggies, he scored a try, set up two others, made 2 line breaks, 4 tackle busts and ran 100 metres. I would think that suggests he's getting there.

I looked up that game, it was Souths last v the 3rd last team, who i can't remember. Maybe against a top 8 side, might have been a better form guide.

He is Capable of anything
But he is also Capable of nothing
He is playing 6 in NSW cup against the Magpies 2morrow
Lets see if he finally is Capable of getting some consistency in his footy career

True. Point is he is showing good form and obviously it has impressed Bennett enough to place him on the reserves bench. He was showing nothing even in the lower grades at Manly after 2021. Should be a very interesting later stage of the season at Souths.

He hasn't even been playing reserve grade the last few weeks. His last game was against West on 18/05 and looking at his stats he didn't set the world on fire.

Which is probably the same team that had earlier authorised his big contract!!

However I agree with you .. the ability to acknowledge an error, and promptly take steps in mitigation, is worthy of respect.

Maybe we should resign him? We got rid of Wardell because he was crap. Then we resigned Wardell and he is still crap. So, no reason not to resign Schuster.
