Yeah, his second half was very forgettable - poor kicks, poor options. But he had zero runners most of the time. It's all part of the learning curve, I hope. He'll be disappointed and want to do better.
Oh, that didn't take long for the haters to jump back on. Pathetic really.
Hard for Schu to do much given 40% possession. He still had two try assists and no tries scored down his side.

Fantastic early and then fatigue set in and started to make poor decisions… got no support from the other halves but dead set ran around in circles at times…
Impressed with his kicking game though (mostly)…

Without Tom he looked lost at times, without sounding overly critical he still has a lot to learn imo
Thought he looked good today, problem was there was no other option than goi g to Schuster.
The coaching staff own a part of the loss for picking John’s as the other option he is just not up to it.
Schuster played both sides of the field which he doesn’t do very often when DCE plays.

Tom just makes our attack look good… the try he scored from the Schu no-looker against Raiders is not scored from that position by 90% of players.. the defence got to him early but his leg drive and strength allowed him to get the ball in the corner… even when he does not get the ball, the threat that he poses forces the defence into bad reads that frees our other backs up…
We have had some good grinding wins this year without Tom at his best but our attack is generally lacklustre without him - eg. 2 of our tries came off intercepts today and another off a kick but generally we did not look a threat with ball in hand

Yeah he tried hard, made a few errors but had no options. We had so many out today. Was a good effort but hard to win against a full strength knights with those shocking ref decisions.

Schu was good in the first half.
2nd half, almost nobody wanted to run off Schu, especially the fullback.
Yes, he was bog average in the 2nd half, however he was not the reason why we lost. How about you concentrate on the aspects of the game why we lost.
Or are you going to recommend Schu go back to Blacktown again LOLOLOL

Going to take him a few games to get that match fitness up.
Tough match for him - he was our only attacking option really. DCE at least has years of experience to deal with that.

We lost the game due to ill discipline again, poor game management and pathetic ref/ bunker clown decisions. When we needed Schu to have a cool head to organise our attack in the 2nd he took some poor options. Yes some of it was because of the lack of support from the witches hats around him but if you want to be the best then you going to have to rise above the plodders and drag them with you. He could be the best but he's got a lot to learn yet.

I've been a pretty big critic of Schu, and still don't think he justifies his wage.. But..he was damn good last week and was again for 25 mins today
He's not going to be a game manager, he a job is to make things happen. Today he had zero game management around him and his 7 and 1 were non existent. Yes he kicked his bombs too deep and ran out of steam, but he was doing what we pay him to do (albeit too much) and trying to make things happen.
The inside pass the n the 5th where weeks got wrapped up likely would have been a different result with Turbo there. He's always going to be rocks and diamonds, just like one of our favorite sons.. Mr C Lyons was.
