Yeah, s

Imagine the ridicule if we get screwed over by the biggest basket case club in the NRL. By the Pascoe, Bunji, and Sheen's dream team. At least it appears there might be some some good news regarding Koula and Paseka.
Yep they should shove it if they think we should add a sweetener for them to take one of our most promising players.

Tartak needs to go take a long walk off a short pier, too

Concerned we lose the shoe now. Anasta on 360 seemed unusually sure of himself when he said Shuster to Tigers. Rumours Fulton wants Koula too. Ffs while we sign tigers rejects. Worst rumour possible.

Reality is, shu needs to be in the spotlight for the right reasons , this publicity will either make him or break him. It's all in his plate. From what I can gather he needs to take his games as seriously as he takes his jokes and social media. I would given him 3 months to show his worth or move him on.

Surely this is BS. Why would we even consider getting rid of him when his value has plummeted due to fitness issues and injury? Mestrov's comments in the DT certainly don't fill me with optimism. Instead of coming out and saying Josh won't be going anywhere, he states that he is confident Manly will hold onto any young players they want to keep.

Is anyone else having issues with the slow speed on this site? It takes five minutes to sign in, and several minutes to load each post. It started last night and it isn't an internet issue because other sites are all operating at normal speeds.
No problem for me with site speed. I think the mods have the ability to slow it down for some posters.

This site kept killing my tablet when I used it through Chrome. Restart, clear cache etc. Now I am using samsung internet just for this site and haven't had any more issues.

I’m sceptical and can’t imagine they would love Scott that much. If they do then that’s freaky weird.

This talk of the club wanting to offload schu is bloody dumb.
He needs a chance to get fit and have some time playing with daly. He was great against the eels and souths. Cooper is a good stand in but he's not at a fit schus level and Latu isn't near ready yet.

It smells of Agenda to move the kid on.

It worries me because siebold did a similar thing at the broncos and let a lot of talent go in his first year.

Let's see how good Mestrov really is and if he can control this and not let that Moses flog get his claws around the club.

It’s all a bit of back to the future, 2-3 years back Schuster was off contract and the guarantee was he was off to the Tigers, never came to fruition

It’s also a bit of dejavu back to 12 months ago and a narrative around David Fifita that he was lazy, overpaid and the Titans should do anything they can to move him on. Now the same crew are talking him up as an origin player

My personal opinion, if the club do move him on, which I can’t see happening, it will be a huge mistake

I never wanted to lose Foz over Schu, i was always clear about that, though i understood it from a business perspective. Ive also been critical of Josh's performances this and last season. I personally haven't seen what all the hypes been about yet. Maybe thats been because of injury...i still think his best position is a ball playing 12 aka Gifted.

BUT, i also acknowledge that a decision was made by the club to invest in him, therefore cutting him after strategizing for him to be the long term 6 is just flaming dumb. He is still a kid and his body needs to find its ideal playing weight to eliminate these injuries.

Player managers are the cancer on the game, we arent even having this discussion if his manager wasnt manipulating the kid and the club again.

What's the world coming to old mate i agree with you letting foz go was silly. Schu should have been told to bide his time and learn everything could off foz.

A lot of people ****canning and writing off a 21 year old 38 games into his career

A lot of talk about Foran as well, and consider the regard Foran is held in now, compared to stints at the Eels and Warriors and the ending of his first with us, where he fell in with the wrong crowd, and couldn’t stay on the park at all for numerous reasons

This was the quote from the Warriors when he left

"He is the most difficult, rude and disagreeable person I've ever dealt with," a veteran Warriors official told me.

"He won't be missed by anyone at the club - good riddance."

Obviously some sort of wake up call happened with him, and he came back to us and was sensational, which shows things can be turned around pretty quickly get back on the right track

Will Schuster have the work ethic and attitude to turn it around, time will tell, he may end up another Owen Craigie, but I’d much prefer that time to be with us, because with any extended run of games and form, he is a game changer

Not as if Josh has not shown something promising this season in his few outings , even some effective kicking options . Still wonder if he could not smoothly make a slight transition to a 13 role . Front on defence is quite reliable even coming with a bit more of a work load and could still provide some good attacking options , probably even more then in a 6 role with some more involvement there . Not in the short term but maybe not too far off once a couple of other 6 options can or may come into calculations . Should not be too long before and with a bit of application that he can be available again . If he did not make that concerted effort in the offseason to get match fit and to i st grade level again , maybe some concerns but that was not the case .

Yep a kid who has a tonne of talent. I think the club stuffed up making this public. Could of kept it all in house. Get the kid fit. Micro manage his diet and watch the kid shine

Agree 100%, he's a rare talent and when fit and on his game he's at another level from everyone else. Hope you're wrong about us wanting to sneakily move him on. The alternative is another stock standard 5/8 no different to all the rest. Sure, we have Latu Fainu available next year or the year after, maybe Seib's and co, like gamblers are all in on Latu making the 5/8 his own in 24. Would just hate to see Schuster at another club displaying all the talent that we all know he's got. Just need a bit of sanity to prevail before we do something really stupid.
