Caught the Oils at Qudos Bank Arena last week. Been a while since I've seen Pete and the boys in action. I must say the set list was a pretty good mix across all of their albums - some good early stuff.

I still think Rob Hirst is one of the most influential drummers of his time. I loved his drum solos.

And for a change of pace, Groove Armada are wrapping up their live touring after 25 years. Man they had some good grooves.

100% - great drummer. He gave the Power and Passion drum solo a work out the other night that's for sure

Couple of demo tracks from Skip Spence from 1968. I hadn't heard the Gene Autry one before but it's kind of quirky and I like it. I prefer this version of Motorcycle Irene to the one on the album.
