What I particularly liked was the focus from Boldy on commitment; it was not about talent but 'The Manly Way' is about not leaving anything in the tank. That's a good message. All you can ask of any player is 100% commitment.

From all Reports We have 17 committed NRL teams training the house down and leaving nothing in the tank .
But in the end when All things are equal and all players from opposition teams are giving 100%.
Its that Extra brilliant Notion from the talented coaches game plan and that Extraordinary Motion from the talented game breaking players that win the game

The fact of the Matter is
Winning Premierships was All about talent at Manly and Our God Father Always made sure of that and his Benchmark Blueprint resulted in to premiership Winning Success

The Brutal truth is this .
You can have all the Barrett coaches and all the Parker and Croker players giving you 100% and leaving nothing in the Tank and they will also leave you with no preimeriahip Winning Trophy's in your clubs cupboard

I was impressed by young Joey Walsh. Looks like a Manly fan fulfilling his dream. He's certainly in the right place to get some great mentoring. Seems to have talent. Hard work and good attitude will see him going a long way if I'm any judge.

I like how Seibold & or the club are giving supporters a peek into what's happening in 2025.
He's taking steps in the right direction.

They are great fluff pieces made so that fans / members feel more a part of what happens behind the scenes.

I do like them , but this would be happening at every club.

The two important things I believe ( that we need to improve on ) are

Defence , we’ve been poor at times , and that’s cost us games , we need to be much better.

The 1% efforts , think the Drizzle & Choccy Solidiers , every single 1 of their non superstars do the extra efforts , it’s why they are so successful.

As I said in another thread , we don’t need to sign a bunch of superstars ( impossible anyway ) but we do need to sign / bring through , players who are 110% committed to improving the two issues above.

Do that , and we are in this up to our ears !!

Good lord the cynic in me wants to hate this....but I love these puff pieces so much

The only thing here with Joey which I’m interested to see how we combat it is that he is left footed.
It’s a lot harder to get your kick away as a halfback on the right side being a lefty.
This could be a tricky predicament to navigate considering Brooks is also a lefty.

From the video he speaks very well above his years. Looks to be a real leader in the years to come.

After an injury plagued season, it looks like Jakob Arthur could be in for a big 2025. He looks very confident as a young leader in that video.

Plus I don’t think it’s any coincidence that Seibold used a sample of Jake’s on-field effort, to highlight the attitude he expects from his players.

That's one thing I took from it as well. Arthur really seemed to be taking on a leadership role with the younger players. Realistically, he's not in the 17, but he may be a good candidate for the reserve grade captaincy. Ideally you want stability in that role and not someone yo-yoing between first and second grade.
