I was standing 5 metres from the fence in Brisbane watching him get rag dolled by anyone who came his way. He wouldn’t last a minute in the pigs Bear.

Im serious when I say I think people just assume rangas are tough in the mould of fatty and the late great Lance Thompson. If he had black hair he’d be running the water bottles for reserve grade. He is a great trier and good kid but so far out of his depth it’s not funny. Another reason why the SuperCoach was a myth.

I think Parker was playing injured for most of the back end of 2018. He had tape all over him. In previous years in his first grade appearances he looked much quicker and ran through the line.

In the last few months he was turning sideways and backing into tackles quite a bit.

Possibly he should not have been playing but there was no one else.

Your description of what makes a fullback pretty much describes Graham Eadie.
Every aspiring fullback should take note of everything he did.
And for Turbo he'd be just a phone call away.
Hope he takes advantage of that golden opportunity...

I was talking to Dale Shearer about Tom T's defensive issues as a fullback. Rowdy certainly wasn't built like Wombat but he was good defensively. Rowdy was keen to assist the club with his experience and knowledge but apparently his calls haven't been returned......

You’d be correct in assuming that but there are always exceptions to the rule.

Not just because he is blessed to be a ginger, but I am willing to see how Parker would go in a Des coached team. I always think of Glenn Hall who wasn’t much chop before 2008 but gee he played like a giant under Des. As Woodsie pointed out, Parker is still young but it’s a make or break year for him, 2019.

And this thread is being hijacked again (which I have contributed to).

I'm just looking at the replacements for Green (NIL), Lussick (NIL) & now Kelly (NIL).

Screw them, make the Broncs release James Roberts. I'd happily enjoy his speed out wide.
