If you drop your bundle, give up and be negative as a supporter, how can you expect the team to stick solid, stay positive and fight their way out?

Some of the negative diatribe in the game day thread at half time today was disappointing.

For those of you who stuck solid, enjoy the win, for the knockers, maybe this is a lesson learnt.

Fair call but I guess I am of the opinion that if I am going to expect my team to keep their heads up, I should do the same. It's a tough competition and these guys cannot stay up for 26 rounds and had a form slump. If you're going to cheer them on and champion them when we win, you shouldn't turn like a rattle snake as soon as the going gets tough.

That's just my opinion.

You having a go now pal, nothing I said wasn't constructive. And it was all stuff they addressed today. So I'm doubly happy! And I don't think I was ever a rattlesnake or petulant.

Just coz you didn't vent on the last two weeks doesn't make you a better supporter than everyone else.

I liked your reply so I am not "having a go" and I am not referring to you specifically when I talk of petulance. I am generalising because when we lose, people just give up and sulk like children and I don't think it's fair, warranted or constructive. I think you've wrongly assumed that I am discussing you, when in fact I am defending the sentiment of my original post.

Of course a fan can discuss, question and query and express disappointment, but the derision from some fans is unnecessary in my opinion.

It feels good when the team has a great win today and you know that you backed them all week and stuck solid. Feels ****ing awesome!
