How come some people think the payout figure is enough to stop the dogs firing Des?

Aren't they bankrolled by a massive casino/gambling den?

A mill would be like half a days takings.

78 million from pokies so almost 1.4 mill per week.

This is why I never understood the Owners' strategy of killing off the LC.

We have a billion Units being built along with a gigantic Frenchs Forest hospital full of thousands of workers.

DY RSL is the only gambling Venue from Manly to the LC site.

If they had developed, it instead if selling it off for a quick profit , they could have had the LC rake in millions and convert it into shares in the MSE Franchise @

The Leagues Club was virtually trading insolvent, so they certainly didn't have the available funds for any redevelopment

As a comparison, DY RSL had $42m revenue from pokies and Panthers had $66.7m.

Supposedly the payout for Des would halve if they wait until 1 Nov.
