Jazz had a great game after a very sloppy start at dummy half. Jake should be rested for a few weeks so Jazz back at 13.

Well even he should see it now, wasn’t just a one off v the riff, this week just adds the extra weight, but like you mention, over to Siebs……

There's also probably a bit of horses for courses about selections. Sharks have a monster pack, I watched most of their game v Storm and it was big boppers on both sides.

Also have to factor in unavailables, of which there's always several. eg Croker Paseka Aloai Sipley would give a totally different look to the pack.

Ideally some sort of balance. Eg, I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing plenty of Navale by July, and his busy play and leg speed will be a plus for sure.

Can we finally finish the Jazz at #9 and Jake at #13 failed experiment. Jazz is a #13 and quite frankly Jake T is not anymore. He's a 20 minute middle at best. It's sad to see but we lose nothing if Jake is gone for a few weeks and we get Aloiai and Lodge back in the middles.

100% agree.
Jazz is not a hooker, yet Seibold keeps picking him there. His distribution is schiit - even DCE joked about it in an interview last night.
Jazz is an extremely good ball playing lock - better than Jake.

Seibold is forced for the next couple of weeks to pick Simpkin and hooker and Jazz at lock. At least the right outcome.

Very astute reading between the lines there.
The week before DCE said in the pressr that they can keep using their attack to fix their defense. He reiterated it again last night that their win was on the back of their defense, not using their "weapons".

DCE arguably has a lot more footy brains than the coach so should be listened to.

How do you know he’s not saying this publicly now because the coach has said it behind the scenes?

All I want is Manly winning matches and so far they DCE comments after a loss and a win have has more merit than "weapons " that Seibold seems more to concentrate on.
