That's the scary thing
We are 10 years + easy no question 1000 miles off the top teams.
I can't see us being a genuine top contender anytime soon other clubs have gone past us while we are still sliding.

Maybe Madge could fix us - they finished 12th last year with 10 wins. But were unlucky to lose the 2023 GF - they had the talent onboard and ready to go.

Seibs will get us in top shape and have everyone firing - have faith peeps.

In 10 years none of the current team may be here and there will be a new generation of superstars by then (with hopefully some of them playing for us).

Agree we are 1000 miles off now, but if we start making good decisions (a big if I know) and get some good talent coming through we can turn it around in 3-4 years IMO.

I don't see it that way. The difference among NRL teams is pretty small really.

As evidence I note the Raiders were tipped as wooden spooners yet ended up minor premiers, and much maligned Manly beat both this year's grand finalists, plus the defending premiers, plus this year's minor premiers
Not to suggest taking that final step is easy, you need a lot to go right and the top clubs keep giving themselves a chance by getting little things right.

I think in a sport where a few countries play it, the gap can't be too big between the worst and best team since revenue would take a hit as well as participation. In a sport like soccer that is where you see massive disparity.
