I was looking for an online copy of Zorbas article in the Manly daily yesterday.

I read it yesterday, but i wanted a second read.

Anyways I didn't find it, but stumbled upon this blast from the past.

7 years on. And well, the irony, on one hand fancy a footy club being run by these corporate types these bean counters who run a club like a business and displace people who just are the Manly club. Aka Toovs.

Mixed with Dejavu. Is this article from 7 years ago, not like a repeat of zorba article yesterday about faceless men in recruiting?

If Zorba is correct then the Penns need to act real fast and sack the recruitment people. Letting Anderson and Tom Wright go is just about the stupidest thing I've heard all season. Do these guys know anything about League or do they just pin names on a list blind folded. I just cannot understand how anyone in League would make such an idiotic decision. If Zorba is right, get rid of this incompetent recruitment group immediately.

Points to the ludicrous nature of our club. How on earth can the uncle and mouthpiece of the owners be calling out faceless men of our club when the owners are presumably appointing/reviewing/dismissing all staff in our club. How can there possibly be factions in the inner workings of a club that has 1 owner.

Is there one to fire? Scott Fulton is there for the junior side but this position was unfilled and part of Barrett's list iirc.
