Bit of additional strain on the cap but can or could be still viable to have 4 quality players taking up 4 mil of it . However just does not translate into tangible results naturally when in many instances for some time now that only 2 of them can regularly take the field or perform at a relatively good level Then compounded when the side can just not get basic things like completion rates to a satisfactory standard . Heap of inconsistency with some individual players does not help either . Effort was still largely there last night and quite a few other previous indifferent performances , that is not the problem , . Also just not sufficient depth to cover major outs . Change of club management is really just a cop out excuse for problems that can be only directly attributed to the side in general in the struggling department .

This is the area letting us down the most. In the glory days we could take a player like Glenn Hall, who was underperforming at their previous club, on the cheap and get the best out of them.

Bellamy still knows how to do that at the Storm, we have lost that.

Our club continues to take short cuts when it comes to our recruitment and retention and we have too many players who are just not first grade standard.

It is obvious this team is going to struggle with the current lot. I would rather see the coaching staff invest in youth. Give Weekes, the Fainus, Chan Kum Tong, Jake Toby and co a go.

We are struggling with players like Brad Parker, Croker looks busted as a 9, Lawton, Aloiai, Johns and Co to win consistently

We need a bench that has a utility hooker/half and 3 boppers. The top teams have 2 hookers and I see Croker doing his best but sloppy from dummy half, it tells me we need a specialist there.

The Broncos and the Roosters in recent times have blooded youth and they are reaping the rewards right now.

We cannot afford to carry passengers like we are now!
