The Daly Cherrygraph

SO .... after 15,000 posts and a million views .... it transpires that not one of the vocal experts on here ..... has a bloody clue what DCE is doing ...
Probably not. However, neither has DCE, evidenced by his botched and clueless attempt to control the media narrative on national TV back in May.

I'm guessing the roosters have cold feet and now he's trying to cobble something together.

I'm glad to see the back of him. Fogarty seems like a much nicer guy and a little unity in the squad will go a long way.
I find this take utterly ridiculous. Fogerty is NOT an upgrade. How many SOO? How many AUS? how many clutch wins? Unity? Under the sebold there will be no unity.

Fog may not be the better player but he might be better for our team if that makes sense. If he can bring more out of the other players around him then his value to the team is greater than the individual

Sharks would be a better fit for the turtle. I've found it curious they have been taking about not resigning their full back.
Sharks were the under-bidder back when he almost left for the tits too so there is a history of interest there from Chez… plus he would have toured with Fitzy (who is a bloody good bloke)

Fogarty just seems like the guy to put his head down and do the work. He doesn't seem like the type of guy to cause media stirs as DCE has, multiple times...

Look at the Raiders for most of the year; he announces he's leaving and he gets back on with the job. Unlike DCE who announces he's leaving and then basically drags the team down.

Hynes and Trindall no doubt still have ongoing contracts, maybe some consideration for Nicko to revert to full back though Kenedy can be a class act at times still or one would presume
Another major contract haircut for D C E if he actually does end up at the Sharks whatever the other club circumstances
It may be a situation where DCE goes to the Sharks to try and give Hynes + Trindall some mentoring in the halves for a year, then once he retires Hynes returns to the halves and their new Fullback Ison comes in. Seems strange as of the two halves Hynes is overall better than Trindall and you'd want to give the former more mentoring. The only thing Trindall has that's better than Hynes is the long kicking game but other than that he's about as creative as a sack of potatoes. I'd think Hynes/DCE would gel better than Trindall/DCE.

But then again, this is all speculatory. We've not seen many articles about such a move, save for an unreliable-at-best source. I doubt Cronulla shake up their halves for next year.
