Yes, that would be ideal, though it would also be funny if the roosters win the comp and then have to announce DCE is coming to help them, umm….not sure.

Word on the street is that DCE is joining them on a one year, $1.25m, train and trial deal.
Silvertails hopes to publish the correct list - as per the most knowledgeable judges of Manly players, ie Silvertails members - as soon as I can finish adding up the MVP votes 🙂

Correct he was not THE reason however, he contributed to a fair disturbance in and around the squad for a considerable portion of the season.
Yep, not the root cause of our crap season but definitely a contributing factor (and a material one in my view).
DCE was a major contributing factor to the destabilisation of the season that was. @XV-1 Attempting to rewrite history isn't going to change that fact.

There were plenty of reasons that we were so crap in 2025. But its naive to think that DCE's own actions were not a reason.
He blindsided EVERYONE, club administration, fans and more importantly his own team mates when he went on 9 devoid of any Manly gear despite being the club captain, then telling everyone he would not be at Manly beyond 2025.
Then there is also the fact that for about ¾ of the season he basically phoned in his form unless it was a game important to HIM such as his 350th......which TBH is something that pi$sed me right off knowing that he was still capable of producing such form yet seeing him play like he did through most of the year.
As said, there were plenty of reasons why we were crap this year. But DCE was definitely one of the main problems.

Yeah, wide being the operative word, so wide there’s no chance
Bit like the Daly M’s, more of a popularity contest then a true reflection of what actually happens on field
