The Daly Cherrygraph

Much like the Keiran Forum, which will now die a slow death as he’s finished , I doubt this one will end until he finally retires.

I think once both are in coaching positions their names might crop up as returning to Manly some day in coaching positions but that’ll be in different threads.

As soon as he’s a Rorter the vitriol & anger will be in fact , ramped up, so all you fanboys , brace yourselves.

Wouldn 't be really feasible but would be fairly sure that over his long Manly stint , many more ratings of 6 to 7 out of 10 on game day ratings then 8 out of 10 or even the very rare 9
Most likely way more in the average to just passible range and taking into account some performances this season , more in the 4 to 5 bracket

Just how does one score the regular "headless chook" routine we saw.

I expect much like when Foz , Choc even Des first left with some time we might view things differently with DCE.

All that said next year will be interesting…as for the thread as if we are not going to talk about him next year (and this is the place to do it)
I dare say the 3 you mention were all more loved than DCE when they were here. They also all came back to the fold later, which helped the majority of fans embrace them again.

I think most fans also understand that the club should bear some responsibility for those departures (and DCE’s departure too).

It wasn’t quite so obvious what a **** show our back office was when Des originally left so he probably copped it the most at the time. That has become more and more apparent over the years, and no doubt the club did something to piss DCE off.

But no matter what the club did it is hard to think of anything to justify how DCE handled it.

Maybe that will change over time.

Spudd isn't exactly a Rhodes Scholar, but I thought this article was bang on from him.

We finished 12-12. One or two more wins, we would've made it. That's one DCE TV appearance away from the finals.

And let’s face it there were a number of games where the Chaser was really really ordinary , almost like he just wasn’t there. He only returned to , having a go , when the criticism was building and he’d been sacked from QLD.

We can blame the coach but for me the captain has had a very big part of what’s transpired this year.

He was so bad some games I don’t know how siebold or the rest of the team could put up with it. Any other player would have been sent straight to reserve grade.
He single handedly lost us the game against the knights as one example.
