I wasn’t at the ground so this may have been said in any post game speech ( was there one or was it a simple lap around the field ??) BUT in not one televised speech / interview did he say,

“ I’d just like to thank the Manly fans who have supported me for 15 years , as a youngster when I first debuted , right through to tonight when I play ( played ) my last game for the club. It’s been a great ride and to be honest I couldn’t have done it without you , the fans , so thank you , and farewell to you all”.

On the pre game interview he was asked the best thing about his 15 years at Manly and how he’d like to be remembered , “ for being a good team mate “.

And there are members on here who wonder why I feel the way I feel.

Good riddance , onwards & upwards for the team now & if you join the Rorters you’ll be one of my most hated players in the league.

Enjoy your dollars , “ Dollars” , we know that’s all that matters.

As I say there “ may “ have been some speech at the ground where he said that but absolutely zero mention in any of the TV interviews in the last week or last night.

I’ll stand corrected if that’s the case but he appeared to not mention the club or fans , once.

Just saw on InstaTwitFace Jazz Tevaga saying his farewell , loved his time at the club , saying thank you to the fans for making him welcome.

Thanks for memories DCE; it's been a very entertaining 15 years. There's been so many highlights. It's the end of an era at Manly but that's life.

I didn’t hang around for the lap as I’m dirty like everybody else and the club game day team just faffed around for at least 15 minutes after full time and I was thirsty!
