I found it interesting that he got slammed by people on here for his lack of impact in the cows game yet commentators to a man all thought he played great and showed a return to form..

perspective is an interesting thing and is generally the reason boxing cards can be so strange sometimes (ie. you see the punches landing that you were watching for)… OK, rigged decisions also play a part lol

The thing that gets me is that when the boys sing the team song, is how passionate he is when he sings it so to me that says he and the boys are all on the same page, anyway my thoughts so what do you all reckon, it just seems strange that he would want to give all that up

I suspect as I have always suspected: that he agreed to sign with the Roosters and Channel Nine way back before his big announcement, and that everything else is smoke and mirrors.

I love how the article says the Dolphins must be talking to Cherry, despite publicly saying they're not interested, because Cherry says he's spoken to them. Doesn't consider the prospect that the Dolphins aren't lying and that maybe - just maybe - Cherry is.

Also love the, "I won't be announcing it during Origin" bit. Yeah, wouldn't want to cause any distractions during Origin, would you? Much better to wait until Manly's season starts to look vaguely promising again, or another halfback is dominating the news cycle.

Started at half for the Broncos, had a shocking beginning to his career, played 22 games lost 18 of them, his come a long way since joining the cows, I would see him as an automatic SOO selection.

You get that All players are playing in the same jersey and Winning for the same team as they did last week against the Cowboys .

People with families make financial decisions that would best be beneficial for their families
Just like club make financial decisions that is best for the club
Nothing Strange about all this but pretty much Standard

If the roosters know that they're the only ones left in contention then the Dollar Chasers negotiating power is lessened and it may drive his price down

DCE has long told the Manly club that he wont be playing with Manly Next year
This has given the Manly club the opportunity to sign another halfback
Which club DCE plays with next season and Beyond is all academic and both the Manly club and DCE will freely Move into a different direction in 2026
The Circus is created by people that dont want to Move on from the reality that the bird has flown

At this stage he would give Prince Harry a run for his money as a shameless self promoter ,just sprinkling enough crumbs around the media to keep that spot light firmly on him

A person that has been disliked his whole life and has long ago perfected the art of appearing to fit in.

I can't wait for full time at our last match for 2025.
