The only tenable pathway forward is to just keep the bad blood behind closed doors until the season is over. The playing group are ready to move past this, that's all that matters for now. Plenty of time for recriminations in the offseason.

I have always thought DCE is an elite athlete and a very good half back but his options at times have been questionable. Playing heads up football is not as complete as being able to read the game, read the opposition and be aware of how your own team is travelling especially the forwards. Good timing is critical and the best game managers are thinking about a play or two ahead. I really think his game has improved under Seibold who it appears to me has reeled him in a fair bit and we are seeing less of the trick shots early in tackle counts or from within our own red zone. Who knows this may also be contributing to his displeasure. I though he would actually retire this year so I'm not really disappointed he is leaving. My disappointment is with his behavior in the media the last week. He should love this club that has set him up financially for the rest of his life but instead he treated it with distain. IMO he's been all me me me. I hope he shuts the hell up and concentrates on playing good football the balance of the season.

Similarly, I hope he shuts up, puts his nose to the grindstone and works his arse off to leave the club with another premiership. After that I really don't care. There's no point trying to pin our hopes on a 37 year old halfback, we desperately need a more balanced roster and paying overs for DCE will only harm that.

My Manly Heart is filled with Passion and not Hatred for any one but only approval and disapproval according to our Legendary clubs Benchmark Standards derived by our Great Manly people that made the Manly Club Great .
Mestrov is no Arko . Far from from it . Arko was a Great Diplomat and a Great Negotiator and the Benchmark of all CEO.s Arko Never ever created a Media circus saga in his Negotiations and has never ever stooped so stupid to disclose knee jerk and desperate late night contract offers live on NRL Gossip TV

Let us put this post to its correct perspective
DCE appeared on TCN 9 because it was evident that Mestrov did not appear to have the CEO Smarts and Diplomatic and Negotiation skills to close the case inhouse and in harmony !
If he had done that DCE would not have been pissed off by him and done the TCN 9 interview

But According to people like you
Mestrov or any one running the Club is not Accountable for anything they do

Now I give you and every one an option on here
We either stop being part of this Manly Saga that only creates club disharmony
