Way to burst a bubble. It's ok you weren't uppermost in my mind when I wrote that. It was more a comment about the types of exchanges here between posters, and ones I like and the ones I find annoyingly unfulfilling.

What a fuking glorious day it will be when he leaves @Chip and Chase , glorious day. 40 years supporting this club, and iv never seen a player divide our club so much. …Why are you guys feeding the troll ? Just be thankful that there is now an end in sight to the least productive era in Manly history.
Some can't see past that flawed, simplistic logic of "he's paid a lot of money he must be good". We paid overs, and for far, far too long. We were rorted. He hasn't been worth the money. He's not elite...there is not one individual accolade in his pool room since 2015 that says "elite". Club awards are laughable justification of his alleged elite status. An above average NRL half, yes. But not elite.
Less than 25 games now and we can move on and get this club back on track. He has shown how much Manly means to him by the manner of his departure.
Good hope he ****s off there nowDCE parents supposedly seen at the Gold Coast getting wined and dined last week. Could end up being nothing, but Titans look like they are at least interested.
Yeah looking forward for manly to be DCE Free,What a fuking glorious day it will be when he leaves @Chip and Chase , glorious day. 40 years supporting this club, and iv never seen a player divide our club so much. …
Like you , counting the minutes….
Aw come on James! You've moaned for years that DCE's play is killing Manly and all we need is a standard game-managing halfback ... but now you're making excuses in advance why they may not prosper???Unfortunately i suspect a few will try to grow his legacy on the forum after he leaves, after every manly loss
DCE wouldnt have done that
DCE would a kicked that
Dce jumps higher than anyone at a try scoring huddle
We would be 6 from 7 with DCE at the helm
DCE Got MOM in 2011
Poor Fog will be in some sights, replacing the chosen one
It’s a good point this. Can I suggest something to those using this, or any other forum.
Talking to your mates down the pub and saying disparaging things about someone is unlikely to get you into trouble because generally speaking anyone taking you to court over disparaging or threatening comments is only likely to get hear-say evidence that you said what is claimed, which is not compelling evidence in a cort.
However one of the poorly understood is that issues submitted material on sites like this, though you can generally wipe it, or the overseer can wipe it, otherwise remains for all to see and if a person threatened or disparaged takes umbrage, they could potentially have the police involved and the matter taken to court because what you've written is material evidence.
Now its difficult to pursue. Email addresses, IP numbers can be hard to isolate, though most of us probably tend to be pretty open regarding identity. I use a VPN system to hide my email address and IP because I've been once hacked. However, police action does occur if allegations are made regarding material you put on line. A young friend of mine very recently had an altercation with a woman he had been working with and on line made many remarks that could be construed as offensive and threatening. Never been in trouble before but he was brought before the court and only by a whisker avoided gaol.
Having worked in the criminal justice system for decades I've seen many caught up with such actions or even for looking at sites watched by police such as with kiddie porn. All I am suggesting is expressing an emotional reaction to something, being angry with DCE or the club for example, is fine. But one has to be careful not to cross the line and make disparaging comments against their character. Technically they can take legal action and forums like these are evidence, unlike talk at a pub. Just suggesting
Not at all, not about making excuses just forewarning that the forum banter runs deep and im sure this thread will remain strong as long as he plays, and i reckon it will have that flavourAw come on James! You've moaned for years that DCE's play is killing Manly and all we need is a standard game-managing halfback ... but now you're making excuses in advance why they may not prosper???
Don't start wobbling in your conviction now that the end is near !!!!!!!!!
fell for 2 dummys against the sharks ,
more like he fell out of "giving a damn"I don't believe he "fell" for those dummies,,,,especially the 2nd one.
The first one was an unconvincing reaction and the second was as obvious as dogs balls.I don't believe he "fell" for those dummies,,,,especially the 2nd one.
