You can tell by Toovey's body language that he is super pumped with excitement that he is about to explode but trying to keep it cool and defuse the question as best as he can.
Some say Im optimistic but I back my judgment on this.

For me its the Myles contract that was the final indicator that he is staying. Ive said it before but Nate is the biggest signing the club has ever made in my eyes. Not only we get a much needed hard nosed international but we retain our best player. I have no doubt that Myles is/was the carrot to convince DCE to stay.
This is a master stroke by Fulton, Kelly and Pen. I doubt we will hear about it until late as possible so GC can't counter offer Myles contract. Although Nate was quoted saying that he turned down bigger offers to sign with Manly but money talks if the price is right. They will have $1.2m to spend to resign their captain and I'm sure they already have their plan to do so. This is a massive game of chess and we almost have them in check mate. I'm glad you like the way Kelly is doing it. The people who own the club are obviously not as smitten as you because Bozo is now handling the meetings not Joe.

I don't think there is any chance of Myles turning around and staying with the GC mate. One of the main reasons he is making the move down is to assist the career of his wife who doesn't have the same working opportunities up there on the Coast.
