The Big head conundrum.

I could not help but think that the shaking hands try celebration mock video the Panthers posted to IG actually proved that they have their heads up their ar$es on this issue.

Totally agree. It was amusing in a smart arse way if you were in the playground.
My issue with Penrith is their continuous put on pile ons after every try. They look like knobs doing it all the time.
I don’t think they’ll win anything until they tone it down. They’ve got no reason to carry on until they do win something.

One of the things I like about sports like the UFC is after all the theatrics pre-fight, most fighters have respect for their opponents when the fight is over.

Even guys like Connor McGregor who carries on like twat most of the time.

Penrith can be arrogant if they like. But humility will always gain you more admirers. If you care about that stuff that is.

You only have to look a few years back as to the role models of these players where this sort of behaviour started.

Scam Smith got away with crap like that and he was safe as a bank as no one could touch him, 30 years ago he would have been dealt with in a big way.

When I see players today clapping opponents errors, getting in their faces when a try is scored it does leave me cold and the provocation only leads to more goading and players know they have to suck it up.

Penrith are on top of their game. 22 wins out of 23 so you can understand the winning habit they have makes them cocky and over the top. A few losses might bring them back to earth and the coach is the one to deal with this.
John Slopoate was doing that rubbish long before Scumeron showed up.

A contributing factor in losing the ‘97 GF.
