The Anthony Seibold Grievances MEGA THREAD

I’ll say Siebold has realised early on we are top heavy contracted with Turbo, DCE, Jake and Oka. Need some great players around on reasonable contracts and the you think Garrick,Saab,Kolua, Brooks and you need to bring in Talua, Hoppa, CKH, N Brown, Liddle to balance the cap and still bring you the wins when called on.

Hmm I have supported Seibold against all sorts of illogical attack until now, but ... was it his idea to have Lehi, our lightest player, take hitups in the first half, while resting Paseka, our biggest player, from this daunting task?

[If so... master stroke, one up for Seibold!!]
I gotta say, I thought it was crazy that he kept running at Kikau or Kikau went out of his way to belt - I don't know how many times today. This kid is awesome - no two ways about it. After being belted all the first half, he pulls off that catch to give off to Bulle on half time. Just brilliant.

We had the more Dominant team even with the Busted Turbo
Ciraldos Game plan Dominated our more Dominant team for most of the game and we narrowly escaped defeat by 2 points

I guess some of us are too easily pleased to say this was one of our best moments in 40 years
We will agree to disagree Happily feathered friend
You’re your own dude and entitled to your opinion but know that your perspective is robbing you of some serious joy. Today was a win for the ages and one worth really relishing. I feel the best I’ve felt in years about a game of footy.

You seem to live in this fantasy land where everything Manly did 30 years ago is a yardstick. It’s not reality. This is a different context and the Dogs came and played a great game today and we were up against it but found a way to win.

You can enjoy it or you can remember a team that won a comp a long time ago and let it spoil things for you. Each to their own.

Thought Sebold was out coached by Fitzgibbon last week and for the first forty minutes against the Dogs today Ciraldos game plan targeted a few areas and individuals that hasn’t been on show this season.

The response he got from the players after halftime was exceptional, the scrum play that lead to DCE going over was good, different from the previous scrum play against the Dogs where Saab scored.

Well deserved and coached today he got it over Ciraldo again.

I've watched the replay, and am somewhat convinced that we held ourselves back from many outrageous shifts until the last 10 minutes.

Almost like we just stayed in touch with the Dogs, and pulled the trigger when it mattered. And we finished well on top in the last 10.

If that was Seibolds plan, then well coached.
And kudos to the fitness guys.

I was saying this all game, we aren't ' doing anything ' that we usually do. All one out hit ups. No passing, no trying to make breaks or use our speed. Right until the end of the game.

We took control of the game when Turbo decided to run it on the last tackle, resulting in Koula’s magnificent try.

Up until that point I believe Turbo had been playing safe to protect his shoulder but realised something had to happen if we were to win the game.

I hope his shoulder’s better for next week’s game 🤞🤞🤞

Think you gotta give DCE credit for running the ball. The conventional play is to kick the ball and he certainly could have but that’s the brilliance of DCE. He plays like he is in the backyard. Absolutely clutch player of the highest order.

Off the back of Daly’s dice roll, we saw the brilliance of Tom and Koula.

What a great post.

I really chuckle when some come on here telling us about their "highs standards"....like they actually think they have some control over how the team plays and performs.

If you are a Manly fan and didn't enjoy yesterday on the basis we probably won't win the comp.....then you should probably go support the Storm or Penrith.

Seibold has been saying it all year and it may well have been so yesterday. The win was engineered by our weapons !!!
"out coached by Ciraldo??" Imagine they were ready for that scrum play that saw Saab score, Ola out wide, adjusted perfectly. But Seibold had them going the other way.. try time !!!

Coaching challenge for both Seibold and Robbo this week. If Manly springs the upset (which I think we will) then plenty of credit will be due to our coach.
Robbo in my view is vastly overrated. Clearly smart but another early finals exit will probably test Politis's patience.

I've said it before but I'll say it again - I've seen more successful second half game plans applied in response to losing the first half this season than I saw in the whole of Des' second tenure with us.

Yes, I know we didn't win every second half or game, but to me it looks like Seibold observes what is going wrong in the first half & communicates an appropriate plan for the second half, which has resulted in more wins than losses coming from behind for us this season.

Our Benchmark Premierships Winning Standards is not a Fantasy
Its is a Reality.... 1972 . 1973 , 1978 , 1987 , 1996, 2008 , 2011
Made from Real High Premiership Winning Standards

Why are Benchmarks High standards so Important ???
Benchmarks of high standards are important as they evaluate performance and track improvements providing a clear indication of clubs standing in comparison to established standards or desired objectives and the desired objective are to be the Great premiership Winning Manly club once again

You seem to live in your own substandards and not our Legendary clubs Great Benchmark high standards if you do not acknowledge the Yardstick and the Benchmark of our clubs High standards where excellence is always is expected for us to keep living up to our Legendary clubs Greatness

The Moral of the story and the Fact is
Lower our Legendary Clubs Great Premiership Winning High Standards and we stand for Nothing Great
