Just look at the improvement in defence of the Dogs under Ciraldo in his 2nd year coaching.

Just look at the lack of improvement in defence under Seibold in his 2nd year of coaching Manly.

The Manly roster is a lot better than the Dogs, yet Seibold can't improve our defence.
We could always attack with Tommy in the team - just ask Twent.

Where has Seibold improved Manly in his 2 years besides bs cliche presser comments like " Proud of Them ". "credit needs to go to the opposition in beating us "

See I don’t believe we are light years away , I think we are a couple of hard working forwards away.

It’s clear that our attack is brilliant , but only when the forwards are dominant.

And our defence needs shoring up, not badly rather , more consistent.

Depending on who comes in for 2025 I’d expect us to be top 4 contenders next year.

Yep, we win , they’re quiet as church mouses , we lose , and out they come.

Most would prefer Hasler , because he’s got “ Manly DNA”, yet many of them were the vocal ones when he was here about not giving youngsters a crack and being stuck in his selection policies.

It’s entertaining that’s for sure.

Chad Randall actually took over as defensive coach this year at the bulldogs. I give him the credit, maybe we could bring him home to coach our defence?

Ladder position this year, and playing finals as opposed to the past couple - albeit he was here last year.

I love Des and always will love the Manly premiership winning legend
but I must be honest
What has he done with the Titans ?
They sacked their previous coach because he could not take them to the finals
Neither has Hasler
Haslers 2024 Titans report card ....
Has he over achieved at the Titans ? . NO
Has He Met expectations of a top 8 finals place ?. NO
Has he underachieved ?YES
Also Des's revelation selection with Parker and Harper in the centres did my head in
The worst centre combination in the NRL who are both now playing NSW cup where they belong

At the post game review, I thought Seibold gave his thoughts & spoke well.
I would have preferred to see DCE speak-up & say that it is he that is in charge of the team out on the field.

I can probsbly copy and paste from the other Seibold thread.

But despite the hysteria our defence has actually improved year on year the last two years.

“IF” he’s on minimum.Not a chance anyone is signing a 3 year deal on minimum.Not to mention he’s played 17 FG games this season so he’s obviously a player the coach likes.Brown was on a train/trial contract,which is basically minimum,and has played well enough to get an extension,but it will be at higher priced

You don't know the contract terms, so you have no basis to say it is ridiculous.

He was on minimum this year so best guess that's what he is signed for in the future.

Too many slow plodder forwards. Look at how slow our play the balls are. Paseka , Aloiai, Jake, Brown , Olakau'atu are all too slow. Croker provides no variety or speed , GCKT passes from dummy half are woeful. Then we have more plodders in reserve Waddell, Lodge, Sipley , Woods. Never getting near top 4 with that bunch the way the game is now. The Tigers out enthused and out sped us all over the park. Insipid effort in spite of the cheating refereeing.
