The 2015 Top 8 and the Spoon, pick yours now

Obviously our losing streak is due to a combination of factors. To succeed in the NRL, up to our high club standards, everything must be right. Therefore each and every one of these factors must be addressed, repaired, improved, fixed.
Winning becomes a habit and confident self belief returns. Self belief wins matches. Winning is the key to everything.
Do i need to list the factors ? No. Suffice to say its Club management, Board harmony player recruitment all the way down to having kicking practice time for the goal kickers and clean jerseys to play in. I dont think we are gonna see any kind of miracle this year, but next year i can already 'feel' the pendulum swinging back to us. '77 was such a poor year, but '78 we won it.

Do you think it's fair on a new coach ,to give him the team & say "by the way -Dont be the first Manly coach in history to get the spoon".
This is Toovey's team ,its his job to pull us out of this mess .And if he doesn't ,then lets talk.
This is our first bad season with Tooves in control.
Ever hear of "when the going get's tough" , Then let's give him to the end of the year to prove himself.

Our last 7 games we scored 114 and had 170 against. One of the worst records of any team at the end of the season and it will flow into next year. Our defense totally went to sht from rd 21 onwards.

I get what you are saying but for me I'd rather go down swinging than just plod along because I don't want to see a new coach labelled. I am one of those who just can't bear the prospect of the spoon and I think the club should be doing whatever it takes to avoid it. Mindlessly plodding along and hoping for a turnaround is just not going to do it.
