Before the season started I would of kept Lane over Sirro without a doubt.

Thought Lane was one of our best last year. Of course comparing his 24 games (and 9 tries) to Sirro's 4 games is hardly fair.

He'd still be here if it wasn't for the Townsville incident. So i hear.
What was the Townsville incident ?

Des got rid of Lane from the Dogs. Would have happened again as we see how the backrowers have performed. He would have had 18 or 19 on his back every week.

Perrett has never got a look-in this year either, another Des reject from his Dog days.
I'm looking forward to seeing who we recruit for next year. Des (obviously) has a plan and our players are really buying in, but I've no doubt he will have a clear idea of where we need to strengthen and what sort of player can deliver what we need..
