Killer has scored over 1400 points for us. Second highest points scorer in Manly history behind Wombat. He is 5th on all time try scorer list with 86 (and counting ??). 11th on the all time games played for the mighty Sea Eagles. Best in Class season after season, dual premiership winner, inspirational leader and all round good guy to boot.

I think the biggest compliment you can pay him is that he is a footballer in the true sense of the word. He has the complete package, great hands, good footwork, speed, rock solid defence, kicking game, vision, ability to create, a never say die attitude to go with his competitive nature and an even temperament that never saw him look panicked. Not a robotic, muscled clone of an "athlete" that you see every other week, but a real fair dinkum rugby league player. Not many of those getting around these days.

You have to say he has been one of our best ever recruits, our decade of dominance had a lot to do with this man. It's going to be strange not having him there next year. Pleased to have enjoyed watching him as one half of one of the best ever centre pairings in NRL history. Thanks for your efforts Killer, you'll be missed and you leave some massive boots to be filled.

Killer needs 4 more points to crack 1400 points for us. Second highest points scorer in Manly history behind Wombat. He is 5th on all time try scorer list with 85 (and counting ??). 11th on the all time games played for the mighty Sea Eagles. Best in Class season after season, dual premiership winner, inspirational leader and all round good guy to boot.

Nothing short of a sell out crowd for his last game is a way that we can show how much he is appreciated

It will also guarrentee a big victory as the moment will not be lost on players

My gut says all the players we have spoken about getting early surgery will place playing along this champion as more important
I can't fault that

Killer has actually scored 1,410 points for Manly so he's already there.

Although not a Manly junior like Tooves or Beaver, and even though we are not in finals contention, Killer's farewell deserves a sell out crowd against Canberra. I hope he gets it. Sadly I'll have to watch on my laptop (the game is on Foxtel).

Currently on Manly's all-time lists:
Games played - 11th (224)
Points scored - 2nd (1,410)
Tries scored - 5th (86)
Goals kicked - 2nd (533/724 @ 73.61%)
Points in a season - =2nd (242 (16 tries, 89 goals) in 2013)

The commentator last night said Jorge had delayed his surgery so he could play in Lyon's last game at Brookie. If true, outstanding.

I honestly think it would be a factor with a few of these guys with injuries. He's a club legend and to run out with him for his last game at Brookvale would be a memory most would cherish. Unfortunately it won't turn out that way with Killer not playing which is cruel, but he's got two premiership rings, a bagful of memories and love of all Manly supporters and players alike.

He will still lead them out onto brookvale oval on Saturday even if it is a slow walk.

Very doubtful he will get to play, a fairytale ( well a 2016 fairytale at least) would have been a packed home ground and a win against one of the favs for Premiership in what has been an absolute **** year.

Sadly not to be.

I know Killer from my Moree days, and was at that 2003 game when the Panthers beat the Boars 42-10, there was a crowd of about 8,000 that day, in a town with less than 2000 people living!!

Humble man, champion player, Manly legend!

Sack Barrett and replace him with killer... He knows how to win premierships and breathes Manly

If Jamie makes a transition into our coaching staff we will recapture our winning ways
