From memory of the court case both those statements are incorrect aren't they? It wasn't at the launch party, he wasn't intoxicated and he wasn't removed.

The article is actually from Ben Glover from FOX SPORTS but yeah you would think that they would get their facts right before they put things in print.

The paragraph in question states:

"Then, as the season’s about to kick-off, comes a boozy Manly launch party from which an intoxicated Stewart is removed. And on the same night, the killer blow. Allegations of sexual assault, which were eventually dismissed by a court of law."

The only part of that paragraph that is correct is the last sentence where it said:

"Allegations of sexual assault, which were eventually dismissed by a court of law."

2009 was joint Face of NRL with GI - who 'allegedly' bashed the woman he is now married to 😡 Said woman did have a black eye, whereas Snake's DNA was not found on his alleged victim 😡 😡

Also,Snake was not thrown out of anywhere, the Court Transcripts clearly state, for those that are literate, that another person in his group was asked to leave.
The fraud commissioned by the 'alleged victim's' father also came out in both the court case and an ABC Radio expose.

The telecrap and all news limited outlets like Foxtel hate us cause we are not supposed to be around. Every time we win it hammers them.

Bulldog Ritchie only gets information from Zorba cause no one at the club bothers with him or his odious colleagues anymore.

They still try to peddle inaccuracy about Brett, saying that he was drunk blah blah blah. Leave the boy alone hes suffered so much.

We sacked him, but, we didn't sack him because of board room infighting as this article alludes.

That's right. We sacked him for poor performance. In the 2008 grand final we won 40 nil. By 2011 we could only manage a measley 20 to 12. Clearly his best days were behind him. Best to send him to some loser club for the rest of his coaching days, just like we did to him when he was a player.

The stand-out feature of those in line was not their extravagant dress. It was their age. In recent years, older faces have started to dominate NRL crowds and females are still comfortably in the minority.

But in Auckland yesterday the stands boasted an equal gender split. Better still, they were awash with a Gen Y flavour more commonly associated with an outdoor music festival.

Out with the old, in with the new.

Must be going to a different NRL to the rest of us. Plenty of women and young people at NRL games.
