TEAM V roosters

Clayton Faulalo is a very good footballer but I never realised how quick he is. That 70-80 metre try he scored in reserves on the weekend was the only highlight of that game. He had some real speedsters chasing him but not sure they made any ground on him. I now understand how he ended up as the leading try scorer in reserves last year. Good defensively also. He should be given his chance on the wing against the Roosters this weekend. That would be my only change to the side.

1 Tom
2 Saab
3 Talau
4 Garrick
5 Faulalo
burbo shouldnt be in the centers over talau and garrick. Faulalo should go alright on the wing good finisher.
Tend to agree but no doubt will be some understandable consideration to put or start Burbo in the centres .
Then Brown, Waddell or Navale to the backrow .
Doubt it and Brown seems to offer more coming on after 20 or so .
Looks like a pretty fair chance of Faulalo on a wing with Saab

Unfortunately I turned on this match when the Workers were leading 18-nil. Suddenly it became a horror show. All I saw of him was terrible defence. If he had some good patches then I missed them.

Yep bad time to tune in to that game. After we led 18 nil, Peachey absolutely ripped up our defence up front and on the edges. I don't think that anything to do with Faulalo at FB.

I’d imagine playing him on the bench the other week would mean he’s first cab off the rank.

If JWH is playing for the Rooters then wouldn't it be fun watching Back Fence Browny charging at him in the first 20 mins? Reckon it would stir up the game a bit.

This is the sort of game I'd put big Ray in for. We'll need to be physical to beat them. Let him get in Dom Young's face.

Tommy is the safer bet under the high ball obviously. But I prefer Tommy / Burbo defensively for the back row / centre combo than Burbo / Bully/ Waddell.

Whoever they go for is in for a torrid afternoon. Dom Young LOVES scoring tries on us.
Entitled to your opinion but I really think vertically challenged outside backs are a bad idea against the Chooks.

Burbo was very good from a defensive perspective in the centres yesterday
Burbo has kind of excelled every time he has been thrown in at centre. Penrith was one that stood out, given our team had all sorts of defensive issues at Centre prior. Burbo gets moved to centre on the fly, and not only does our defence look great. Hes looking better than you'd expect in attack. He is a big body and when oppositions aren't expecting to line up against Burbo so don't get to do there home work on him. The opposition struggle. Id have him starting in the three quarters this week. But I probably wouldn't name him as starting all the same;-) And run Faulalo off the bench.
