Is Jamil Hopoate available??
Would be in my top 17 even before losing players....Talented with that extra agility and imo, will handle the step up from day 1....X factor player 100%
Also agree with Amone - actually a very skillful player with decent pace.
Some of these older hacks that go through the motions, give the opposition a roll on and momentum....so much harder for the Tom, Walker, Kelly types to shine off the back of this.

Cullen would be good off the bench but he is not a starting hooker,he would look like 5 week old roadkill after the match. He can't tackle front on or as a cover defender,he would have to defend behind the line and have Tommy defending in the line which causes other problems,if he defends in the line they will be running at him all day and he would be worn out and have no impact.

I heard there may be an

Matt Prior plays centre, lock and prop. I think we have that in young Jarrad Kennedy coming though, so actually think his mobility will be a step UP for us.

Lane is a fast, but huge body. Put it this way, he won't be a step back on Lloyd Perrett.
Jarrad Kennedy is not "young" and he is not "coming through"...he is a 28 year old career reserve grader.

Compared to the "kid" who just loves his footy (31 year old Todd carney), surely Kennedy is a mere youth?

Great to see Cullen given the bench spot. He will take Greens spot when he leaves I reckon. Cullen should be our 14 full time until Green leaves than give Cullen the 6.

Loving your insight Joe, cheers

I'd love Cullen to beat out Api for the Hooking spot. He's unique. He's fast, uptempo (similar to Parcell explosion wise), and can pass a damned ball. I'm starting to like him as our favoured number 9

didn't see too many explosions from Parcell .... just a few farts

He HAS played over 50 games of NRL over the past 5 years... more a career bench and fill-in player I guess. Solid defender though I think. Will help us in the middle third this weekend.
