I think he's still hanging out for a better offer from Manly. I spoke with him about a week ago and asked him if I needed to organise a farewell party and he just smiled at me and told me to put it on hold. Maybe Player Manager talking up UK in order to get a bit more from Manly. He was at his usual carefree attitude and looked happy so I don't think he's going anywhere. Spoke to him about moving to the forwards as well and I think he preparing for it because he said he was slowing up with age.... harder to keep the kilo's off. He said his misses cooks great food.

UK stops League players with criminal records getting a work visa.

Jorge was sentenced back in 2013.

I remember Manly needed a Court clearance for him to play at Suncorp as it was a licenced venue.
His Court Order stipulated that Jorge must not enter lincesed premises in Qld

Spat at a Police woman, so had a 2 year (???) Good Behaviour Bond

I'm just aware that lots of players had minor police issues and they were refused a work visa by the UK, I think Croker from the Scumos had to come back and play for Souths as his visa was rejected.
Then again, he did take Snake out illegally in 2007😡

can someone please explain the excitement around Parker. Only saw a few games where he had a run and never struck me as anything special.

I may be totally wrong but Tommy Turbo coming thru you always knew he was special. Just dont get that buzz around Parker....

Parker came on the scene pretty young AFAIK. Played very well IMO and still yet to see the young guy make a mistake in firsts. Now that he is 2 years older he has probably bulked up a little. Would be nice to see what he can do.
