Taniela Paseka ... it's time ..

Whatever happened to Woodsie??? Love to see him back on here.

Now his post on Taniela was 2 years ago now and he we are still waiting to see Taniela explode in the NRL. I think we may be continuing to wait. For mine, his stats are pretty good but what I have been waiting to see from him is simply called presence. You can also throw in dominance and intimidation. Love to see that from him but I just don't think we will. I think what we see is what we will continue to get. If he wants to be the best prop in the game, he will need those other ingredients.

Loved woodsie too. But I actually think he was Sean Keppie. 😂

He has always been a slow burn. Was incredibly impactful in the jrs just for his sheer size and power but after hitting grade had to start again as it didn’t come easy.
I feel his adjustment hasn’t been as quick as most on here have wanted but he continues to improve 10% every year.
There is a lot to be excited about with his consistency for growth as to what player he is slowly morphing into.
I’m absolutely loving the recent upgrade to TP as he has only hit 65% of the player he can truly be.
As the DCE era is fast closing, I’m impressed with the direction the club is taking nailing down our new leadership core.

Certainly become more consistent and purposeful in doing his role. Just wish he got a little mean and p*ssed off occasionally

I don’t mind Paseka and Alioli starting the game and doing the hard grind and then Brown coming in to lift the tempo and Bully with good leg speed turning the opposition over till the starting props come back. Manly has good halves and speed all over the park so they need to be solid and make their tackles for DCE and Turbo to add the icing

He's over at the burrow lelling souffs fans how to think nowadays.

Got some deceptive late footwork to the line as well which makes him additionally harder to contain.
Always been a fan , even when he was in the development stage .
Only minor issue is still a tendency to be caught off balance in the occasional tackle attempt but like most big men , even very mobile types , can find it a bit challenging sometimes aiming up against nimble attackers close to the ruck .
Would have very likely had a much bigger impact in 23 if not for that illegal Shark's tackle early on

Was strong on the weekend. I still think he has another 30% improvement in him. No reason why he cant be the best middle in the comp. Always seems to get niggling injuries when he is just about to hit his straps.

Hard to get to the level of Hass but even close , pretty good outcome. and would have to be right up there in relation to many of the other top line props going around .
Handy prop in Flegg apparently coming on well , hopefully Bully on the books for many seasons to come

Taniela just needs to avoid injury to remain consistent. Every time he gets injured, his confidence gets knocked back a few pegs and then takes time to get back to the Prop we want to see with damaging runs and post contact meters. Lets hope he stays injury free right up to the big one!

Yeah, my thoughts as well SE, Paseka running that line of a reverse pass from DCE was a long time coming. He's so dangerous and hard to stop when attacking the line, especially when the defensive line is pushed out of shape late in tackle counts. Just gives us an extra bow to use in an already try hungry attacking line up that we all ready have.

Part of the 'Lost cause' ............forget 'how', maybe just 'think at all' would be an improvement.

His time would be better spent teaching them how to brush their teeth (or tooth), or perhaps basic hygiene.
