Only talk of 600k is some newcastle supporters on their forum say he wanted 600k so grain of salt stuff.
The 400k for next season is in the tele from Brent Read. As for the people who want mahoney no thanks he is so ill disciplined he gives away to many penalties for my liking.
The Daily Telegraph's salary methodology is basically this:
"X player is on $185k. That's basically $200k. Because of the 2024 salary cap rise, we can put that as $250k. He might have a ratchet clause, so now it's $300k. I was reading some drivel on a forum, and someone mistyped his salary as $400k. So now he's on $400k. But $600k is the new $400k, so now he's a $600k player. He's an Isaac Moses player, so now he's $800k.
"The Bulldogs/Roosters now want him, so now he's on $120k and he's actually only average."

Also I like Simpkin but , he should be starting for us but on all I've seen of both Da Silva is a significant upgrade.

Good signing Croker needs to go. I like simpkin but talyn has top tier potential.
We have zero threat out of dummy half with Croker which stifles our attack.
