Tallyn Da Silva

You know, I never thought of Mitch Kenny as a "young star", but you do have a point🙂

Wild that Api won a premiership at Souths and a couple of the Panthers, and yet when he was with us he was generally thought to be pretty mediocre. Maybe it does mean that the rest of the forward pack is more important…

In my opinion, the only premiership-winning team in the last 15 years that wouldn't have won it if they swapped out their hooker with any other starting hooker in the NRL, is the Storm with Cameron Smith. Several (Souths 2014 and Roosters 2019) managed to win the premiership with a backup hooker.

I don't think any hooker could have guided our teams 2016-present to a premiership... there are other parts of our team that have been lacking.

The way people are so quick to judge from 1 game is hilarious. If you did the same thing you’d be thinking Hopoate was a dud but we know that isn’t correct.

Not a a good game there’s no doubt about it but let’s not forget he played with no Luai, No Bula & Api as a half. Id imagine playing a game for a team you are supposed to be leaving a day later also isn’t easy. He is a future star & would be the best signing we’ve made in a long time if they pulled it off.

Hard to get much of a read on him in that game. He certainly didn't stand out. And as others have said, Simpkin had a pretty good game for us. I'd be happy enough to keep Simpkin - just give him the spot for the rest of the season and stop f@#king him around - and save our cash for a backrower and prop, but if the Eagles get their Tallyn, so be it.

Well give us your expertise we are all waiting.
I wasn’t critiquing.I was merely making the point that one ordinary game doesn’t mean they’re ordinary players,as a whole. The Fainu’s were poor tonight, but I certainly don’t think Samuela is a poor player.Latu, well the jury is still out on him
