Think Tuitavake might take a bench spot as he played for BWSE yesterday and a good hit out. No update on Schu but Guaca was expected back after Bye as well. Des has had his hands tied with forward out hence why few backs occupy the bench but that may be changing from next week.

It’d be huge if we got Guac and Schu back too

I'd be happy with that team and I reckon you are spot on! I hope they are all back next week.
Add Schuster, Olakau-atu and Turbo the following week and we are nearly back to full strength.

I’m not sold on Walker at fullback but not sure where else to go with Funa out. I think Des will stick to his guns too

I'd expect them both to play. Id be surprised if Tom plays

I would suggest we aren't going to beat the Cowboys with no fullback, no halves and half our forwards out injured or suspended

He’s been playing on the wing for Blacktown, hard to see him getting picked at fullback in first grade.

I wouldn’t mind seeing him on the wing and Garrick at fullback though

I've actually read quite a few of them saying it. 48 hours fine. After that ... nightmare.

DCE gets more than his fair share of criticism on here, often because of his salary (which was the club's fault, not his) yet we assume he will be fit to play a couple of days after Origin.
That's the thing all of his critics forget; he never shirks his responsibilities to Manly. He plays more game time than any of our other players, so he deserves credit for it.
Jurbo, of course, is equally committed which is another reason why these two are our highest paid players (along with Turbo).

This was the update from the NRL today; I'm surprised at what's been written re Harper, Boyle, Saab (to a lesser degree) and Tuitavake. Mid season is a long way away.

Plus - Tom's shoulder is not what will keep him out till Round 1, it's his hamstring.
