Wonder if Aloiai really has gone, as we could sure use him for this one and in the games to come. Surely a decision can be made to medically retire him or not, it's been months since he played.
I think Aloiai is missed a hell of a lot more than people realise or appreciate. Aloiai, Paseka & Olakau’atu is a massive missing piece of our forwards. With those 3 in our pack currently we wouldn’t be in this position.
Paseka, Aloiai, Olakau’atu, Bully, Jazz, TKO….there’s plenty of power there!

Yep. Also The Villain (DCE, lol) and his long kicking game will be vital to keep them of our line.
He needs the kicking game of his life for us to have any chance.

Hold in the middle ( big task )
Long kicking game, keep them away ( bigger task)
Do that and our backs come into play ( our strength)

This needs to be purely about trying to play minimalistic footy , as mistake free as possible , and in doing so frustrate them into ( hopefully ) mistakes where we can capitalise.

It’s far from easy against the side arguably favourite to win the competition , but it’s not impossible.

And if Munster is out as well as Papy it all helps.

Has to be a repeat of the Broncos game.
A. Kick the sh*t out of them and pin them down their end.
B. They play like sh*t.

Just had a half time/fulltime double melb halftime lead manly to win at 9/1.Smacked $100 on it chez to kick a field goal I reckon or we just get up on a close game.
They have lost like one game in ten years when they led at half time.

Hope so, but not hopeful should Waddell be playing instead. Recall all three Souths tries were scored down the Manly right side defence - and that is where Waddell was positioned! His lateral movement and agility is not athletic at all.
It’s the D$E side

How can someone who rarely played be missed?

An unlikely win sadly. Happy to be wrong though!
As I’ve said , highly unlikely but I’m of the opinion that we’ll surprise a side at some point , they’ll think it’s an easy win, and for what ever reason we’ll be super “ up “ and bingo , we jag a win.

It’s more likely at a home game but you never know.

But yes I’ve put this down as a loss in the footy tipping ( logical choice ).

Tbh Mark I don’t think any team thinks we are an easy win.

I also think we’ll jag a higher scalp. Not sure it will be this weekend tho. More likely dogs or Canberra (possibly both).

We’ll also have another rubbish loss in us too (St George probably, maybe even Wests)!

Yes to both , we’ll have an unexpected win and then throw that win away with a **** performance against a lower team , happens every year ( zero resilience with this lot).

Highly unlikely this weekend , but you should never say , never !!

I agree, think we'll jag a win in the next 4 tough weeks. I think the "surprise" result will be against the Roosters or the Raiders.

Or the other scenario, Melb have an off day and we come out on fire with every play coming off.
M8 you are supposed to gamble responsibly ……. pay attention

You will probably jag one back on me Mark, I just can't tip against us.
