We need to win the toss. Run from the southern end 1st half with the breeze behind us because it will die off in the 2nd half. Kickoff and basically start WW3 on them. Agro, mouthing, niggling. Everything legally to put them off. 2 converted tries on them in the first 15min then run them around with constant long kicks. Make them play from their end.

Observation is not bitching... SR8 observed that we are all wrong about Guac because Des's analysis is more detailed than anyone else's - I observed that if Des was your project manager your house would be condemned before it was constructed...

Actually I didn't suggest everyone who wants Haumole selected was wrong, in fact I too would love to see it, merely suggested that it wasn't conclusive proof that Des is a lunatic or has lost it. He's got his reasons no doubt. Anyway good to see at least Funa and now Hoppa get a run.

Yes I've watched the 4 games he was in this year and I have to agree.
Also I have broken down the videos and studied his individual performance in those games in some detail. I've also been closely monitoring all his training stats and comparing them to the rest of our forwards. Actually I just remembered I haven't done those things. And I bet Des hasn't either, he's just a lunatic!

Des and Videos ? He stopped when it all went digital, that why Hoppa hasn't had a run.

So Hoppa to centre looks locked in, but what do they do with Jetski ? Does he push Waddell off the pine or does he drop out altogether. I'm thinking they probably throw him back to the bench as cover for outside backs. Not sure what the go is with Miski though -

Still not certain he's a lock for centre. Hoping des thrown a last second surprise and shifts funa out there and let's hoppa run amok from fb.

There's some chatter that Hopa will play prop. The imbalance will give us a couple of wins against the feed.

My thoughts exactly.

I cant see Des making changes all over the park or starting Hoppa at fullback so assume Hoppa on for Jetski, Jetski to bench & either Keppie or Paseka being dropped.

Thankfully it seems Hoppa will make his debut today with us, not the Warriors....and rightfully so! Hope its a wonderful one for him.

Can we please walk the walk, not just talk, and actually remember how to win.

I have said it is extremely unlikely hoppa would play this year. I hope I’m wrong. If we get thrashed with the tried and trusted what do we gain? Get shuster in there at some stage as well.

Finding it difficult to phsyc up for this one, very flat, only thing I am looking forward to is Hoppa hope he has a good one.

This is how my rose coloured glasses see things.

We match them in the halves. We match them in the forwards. I also think our bench is slightly better.

The problem, as always lately, is the backs. They kill us for both experience (if Jorge doesn't play) and strike power.

If our 1-5 lines up how I think it will (Hopoate, Miski, Parker, Funa, Garrick) ... that's a grand total of 110 NRL games experience, with Parker (58) and Garrick (41) having the vast majority (think about that ... that leaves 11 games between 3 players. 2 if you count Hopoate making his debut). Melbourne's back 5 on the other hand boast a grand total of 244 games (Addo-Carr has the most with 98). Of course, if Jorge does play and Miski doesn't, that gives us another 157 games of experience ... not that it would change much, if anything other than the total game count.

I know Hoppa doesn't have any match fitness, however don't understand why we'd put Funa (who's a centre) at fullback and Hoppa (who's a fullback) at centre.

Much rather they play in their natural positions.

Was thinking of not watching this one but hey we've only got 5 games left. Summer sport sux so make the most of it punters and give them support. You never know, hell might freeze over, pigs might fly and my rose coloured glasses might just happen. You wouldn't want to miss it if it happens.

Yep and a bit of breeze too. Funa first try. Well head down about 230pm and try find a nice spot on the northern end. Is capacity no more than 4K? Should be sone good viewing spots
