Why would you have 2 backs as reserve. WTF has Olakuatu done to not get a place ahead of Waddell and Gosiewski. Mind boggling. Obviously 1 of either Hoppa or Miski is in. Hopefully both but geez Ola deserves to be in there ahead of those 2. I could stomach Gosi and Waddell out. Hoppa to fullback, Miski to wing Taufua to bench.

Yes I've watched the 4 games he was in this year and I have to agree.
Also I have broken down the videos and studied his individual performance in those games in some detail. I've also been closely monitoring all his training stats and comparing them to the rest of our forwards. Actually I just remembered I haven't done those things. And I bet Des hasn't either, he's just a lunatic!

You're right SER8... none of us have any reason to question Des's team selections atm because all that attention to detail is delivering on-field results...

Really don"t know what to expect this afternoon and with the way that Manly has been leaking points the past couple of months . Maybe with some better organized and determined defence and better determination all round and completion rates for the full eighty , they can make some sort of a game of it . Always hope for a good outcome but if the side do not aim up and let the Storm dictate terms , could be another difficult afternoon . . With the size of the Storm pack , agree that Ollakuatu should have been there somewhere , will add some real interest if Albert can debut . Still some decent playing personal in the Manly line up so must have something still going for them surely and can only hope also for a good kicking game from D C E . Only 5 more season games to go Manly , try and make all of them count starting with today .

I don't think Albert has been named in the 19 just to not play him. I think he'll make his NRL debut at fullback. Miski might come in for Jorge. Funa will move to the centres for Jetski who will move to the bench to replace Waddell (Jetski is, sadly, our centre insurance policy. Its Tom Symonds a-la 2016 all over again).

The only other way I see us lining up today (because I doubt it'll be as named) will be Funa still at fullback, Miski maybe in for Jorge, Hopoate to right wing with Garrick moving one in to centre and Jetski back to the bench in place of Waddell.

I'm not 100% certain that Miski will play in place of Jorge, but I do see Waddell being one of the two who doesn't play.

Observation is not bitching... SR8 observed that we are all wrong about Guac because Des's analysis is more detailed than anyone else's - I observed that if Des was your project manager your house would be condemned before it was constructed...

I did get a giggle that you want to hold some hope... immediately after you call for the bitching and moaning to wait until AFTER WE LOSE today...
This season has done that to all of us I reckon @Waz13... hope they turn up for you today...
