In general that’s not too bad a half. Two one on one misses and a “lucky” kick for their tries. They are driving through the middle but the defence is holding up ok, DCE’s long kicking game pretty good so far, 5th tackle options still a bit hit and miss.

We are a dumb footy team. Dce just plays off the cuff and doesn't plan the next play. He just bombs it to nobody. Organise who gets tackled where. Then set your position and make sure your team knows where you will kick it. Not rocket science.

Oh to have Munster at 5/8th. In a completely different class to Cust I am afraid.

The spirit is there in our back line as they try hard but the pace and class is not .

DCE is working hard and has had a mixed kicking game.The rest of the team need to show urgency and trouble the receiver.
On a side note, we can't buy a 6 again and they get them all the time.
2020 sucks.

We have done well to keep it to 8 points given the amount of time Melbourne has spent in our half. The biggest blight is the way Melbourne are allowed to slow the play down and never penalised but we are hammered for less.

Set restarts, limp kicking game, no desire in running the ball. We handicap ourselves every game not getting these right week after week.

Melbourne are making twice as much ground, our 2nd towers, centres and wingers are giving us nothing in either edge, no shape at all, no depth and our service to them is terrible anyways.

I really hope we clean out all these useless players at the end of the year. We have so many great players and the **** ones just keep us non competitive

The first half needed composure and direction.
Until this happens under a new playmaker, we are also rans.
Cust is rubbish, 14 back up player at best right now.
The team is not bad, they just have no effing idea how to play patient and build.

Our defence is so slow to move up, it just lets them run 50/60 mts each play, while we're making 25/30 mts

I cannot believe people bagging DCE kicking game, most kicks are finding space and turning Melbourne backs around. Only thing keeping us in game. Hasn't had a chance to do an attacking kick as he has been kicking on own 30m most of that half

All I see is cherry kicking it straight to the back three, on the full, he has had one good kick I think

Siro shouldn’t be getting picked, he is not giving us anything with whatever his injury is, guac would be better than either our edge forwards in current form
