Even though I generally support Qld in Origin, I can't see Game 2 being any better for them than Game 1 was. Not with the pack they've picked.

I feel a bit for Dearden because he's on a hiding to nothing really, especially behind the forwards he's been given against what NSW have. And TBH I don't think NSW even got into top gear in Brisbane.....

Second gear should be enough to see NSW win four in a row. It's the strongest group I have seen for a while. It was only a matter of time before that great Panthers connection dominated at origin level.

For mine its reminding me of the 1992–94 NSW teams. Those sides had Daley, Stuart, ET, Brasher, Wishart, McGregor, Fittler, Harragon, Roberts, Clyde, Lazarus, Elias, Sironen, Gillespie.....all those names were Kangaroos in either 1990, 1994 or both.

Queensland have the nucleus of a good side that can win a series. But they need to find a better prop option than big Mo. If Fifita an ever gets going again he will instantly improve their pack. If I were Billy id have sent out an SOS to Papalii.

Couldn't care less hope they all get injured. For the first time in history, not a single Mighty Eagles player WHAT DAAA FFF???. Remember when we had half of NSW/QLD in the team. I couldn't give a rats who wins as ACT is neither both. In the old days I went for the most Manly players in the team or the Maroon colours and hope none get injured. GOD bless Manly this weekend as we Godame need a win big time..

Granted, but King won’t let the blues down, his the most improved and underrated prop in the game, he’ll get the job done and Utoikamanu from the bench will add some sting, not a bad rotation when Leniu and Utoikamau swap in, but your definitely right Barnett is big out, even so I still think our pack will be to strong.

Deardon in for DCE is 2 massive moves
Munster has been quiet and the vacant captaincy could snap him back into the spotlight
Deardon isnt as skilful as chez but he hurries the defence all day long looking for chinks and momentum

With good reason, the blues have a similar history to Manly, that’s not winning the games everyone expects they’ll win, unlike Manly, I think the blues will be bang up for this one, not saying QLD won’t, the series is on the line for both sides, it just we have let ourselves down too many times not to turn up for this one.

QLD have strengthen their side while we’ve had a set back in Mitch. Said it already, Capwell is a good in for them and I feel pretty sure Howarth will start, his another big body with strong carries, who can help their pack with yardage work and Dearden is just made for origin, his such as competitor, still I think we’ll have their measure, it’s 4 wins in a row and back to back series wins for the blues.
