Speed and Skill kills

it is clear to me that in today's NRL with the 6 again rule change and one ref is that

You must have Speed and skill in the backline. This cannot be negotiable.

In the past two weeks Souths and Melb have killed us with speed in the backline.

Imo, the only fast and skilful players we have in the backline are DCE, Turbo and Walker.
Funa has speed and is illusive so he can stay and see if he can raise his footy skills.

Hoppa inr based on today is about as fast as Jamal Hoppa and unless as a 19 year old can get some speed, might be destined for the forwards.

Frankly, the rest not matter how hard they try are not fast enough or skilfil enough

Yep we certainly need a clean out. Might not happen til end of next year though. Other teams have production lines of fast skillful backs and we have Parker and Taufua as walk up starters and then the best we can go and sign is Harper. Crusher needs to up his game too
